Louisville Wedding Planning with a Personal Touch
From our very first meeting, it was clear that Annie and her mom had a distinct vision—elegant, warm, and joy-filled. Our team worked hand-in-hand with them to bring that dream to life, showcasing just how smooth and enjoyable wedding planning in Louisville can be when you have the right team by your side.
Held at The Pointe, one of Louisville’s most unique venues for special events and weddings, the setting provided an industrial-chic backdrop softened with romantic details. We dressed each table with white floor-length linens, light pink napkins, silver flatware, water glasses, and custom menu cards. The space was both refined and inviting—a perfect match for Annie and Tyler’s style.
A Cocktail Hour to Remember
Guests were welcomed with pre-poured champagne and ushered into a lively cocktail hour. Our passed hors d’oeuvres featured summer-forward bites like Tomato Basil Bruschetta, compressed watermelon/feta/mint skewers, and savory bacon and collard green stuffed mushrooms. Each appetizer was thoughtfully curated to delight the palate and reflect the couple’s tastes.
Elegant Plated Dinner by Your Louisville Wedding Caterer
Dinner service was a highlight of the night, with a plated menu that showcased culinary excellence. Guests chose between Filet Mignon or Bourbon Peach Pork Chops, both served alongside garlic smashed potatoes and broccolini. Our vegetarian option—a quinoa, kale, and edamame-stuffed squash—was as hearty as it was beautiful.
Kids were treated to their own crowd-pleasing meal of chicken nuggets, mac & cheese, and applesauce, ensuring even the youngest guests had a delicious dining experience.

A Show-Stopping Wedding Cake
The three-tier wedding cake was a stunning finale to the meal: yellow cake with lemon filling, red velvet with cream cheese, and devil’s food with rich chocolate ganache. It was a visual and flavorful centerpiece that had guests going back for seconds.
Full Bar Service with Kentucky Spirit
Our Michaelis Events and Catering bar team served a full open bar featuring bourbon (of course—it’s Kentucky!), vodka, rum, gin, domestic beers, and red and white wine. With a glass in hand and love in the air, the celebration continued well into the night.
